Greenville Hockey is proud to have the only all-girls hockey program in the state of South Carolina. Girls hockey continues to grow throughout the country and our program is part of that momentum. Led by USA Hockey-certified coaches, we set our girls up for a lifetime of hockey through an intentional program designed to grow their abilities, create lasting memories, and develop future leaders on and off the ice.

We have two program offerings.

The Warrior Princesses are our 6U/8U team who are developing their skills and a love for the game. Our emphasis in this team is on having fun, building friendships, and giving girls the confidence to grow their hockey ability together. Many of our girls also play in the House (6U/8U) program to increase their ice time and strengthen foundational skills.

The Lady Warriors are our 10U/12U team that competes in the Carolinas Girls Hockey League. The girls on this team often have played for a few years and are continuing to refine their skills. This offering is open to all girls who know they are hockey players and are ready to prove it, both on and off the ice. Our girls will often play on House or Travel too, if their schedules allow. The Lady Warriors are setting the tone for girls hockey in Greenville, with fun and bonding as a key part of the experience. Girls on this team are leaders and are ushering in the next era of girls hockey in the Upstate.

Greenville Hockey operates the girls teams as an add-on experience. Girls need to either be currently participating in a Learn to Play, House, or Travel program to be eligible.  

As many areas in our region do not have the numbers or interest to support an all-girls program, we accept any girl who meets the above criteria to join us. We have girls from Charleston, Columbia, Athens, Asheville, Roanoke, and Atlanta who have played with us. 

The Greenville Lady Warriors play in the Carolinas Girls Hockey League (CGHL).  This league is designed for girls to experience full ice, tournament-style play at a more local recreational level.  This team will play in the younger age group of the CGHL in 2024-25. The CGHL currently consists of teams from Raleigh, Winston Salem, Roanoke, Charlotte, and Greenville in two different age/skill divisions.

I am thrilled and honored to be in this position with Greenville Hockey. It is my mission to make ice hockey as much of a sport for girls and women as it is for men and boys. I envision what hockey has to offer for girls and young women. Through that vision, I teach life skills and build self-confidence to form lifelong friendships and bring families together. I feel strongly that girls deserve to have that equal opportunity. Girls hockey creates an environment where young athletes build confidence and self-esteem. There is a camaraderie that differentiates it from other sports. The time spent together both on and off the ice is a growth experience that we all can take with us regardless of what we do with our lives. I look forward to continuing to grow the game of girls hockey and working with many of you.

Greenville Hockey aims to provide a safe, fun, and exciting program to offer young hockey players to develop as people and hockey players. Our cost effective model allows families to get the highest echelon of coaching to allow players to continue to pursue the sport of hockey. 

Our main curriculum will focus not only personal skill development, but learning and understanding team concepts, systems, and life lessons that will extend well beyond the rink. Our emphasis of fun and hard work will provide newer and experienced players alike a chance to bring their game to the next level.
